I took this photo this morning and then read the article by Lionel Shriver.
This photo is a perfect example of what she is talking about. The construction crews have not considered anyone but motorised traffic by laying these cones up to the center-line. If they had left a 2-3 foot path for cyclists, we would not forced into the right-hand lane, on an already dangerous intersection.
