Some pictures from cycling on the Sustrans Cycle Path 7 and 75. I usually cycle to the in-laws and grab a cup of tea but they were away. So, all I got for my troubles was a warmish waterbottle on the stoop.
On the way back, the front tire caught some glass and I had a blowout of the sidewall. The lesson learned here was to stay on the path. I could see some small glass on the track and so I veered off to the grass to avoid it. Unfortunately, the large pieces of glass were hidden in the grass and a huge piece found my front tire. It was a five minute repair job to replace the tube, but the tire is useless now.
Tomorrow is a bus ride to work and a new tire from a cycle shop. Won't be cycling into work till Tuesday.
